Saturday November 7, 2009 marked our Grand Opening at Castillo de Feliciana Vineyard and Winery. We had over 300 people attend our opening. You should have seen the parking lot! Cars were lined out the gate! Deb and I were "Blown away" by the attendance. Many of our friends from the west side of the mountains came by to join us as well as many people from the Walla Walla area. It was so exciting to see people just come through the door and really really like what they saw. We had a Flamenco Guitarist provide the music for us throughout the day. Antonio was a hit! For those who were hungry an assortment of Spanish Tappas were prepared and served. Everyone thought they were delicioso!

Thanks to help from our daughter Kara, son Christopher, and two sister in laws Margo and Chrissy we managed to keep everyones glasses filled.
Ryan did an excellent job of describing the wine to those who asked. He also did his share of signing bottles! Nothing more special than a signed bottle from the winemaker!
Our deepest thanks go out to all of you who made this grand opening special for us. If you didn't make it to this one we hope that you do make it sometime as we feel you will just fall in love with our winery.
The next big event will be in December to celebrate Winter Barrel Tasting. I do believe it is the first weekend in December.
